Construction Services
Our electrical distribution experience includes: installation of 33 KV underground feeder lines, the installation of 11 KV overhead distribution lines and underground feeder lines, the installation of new low voltage network systems to include kiosks, poles, conductors, and transformers. We have successfully completed the construction of elevated water storage tanks, the renovation and expansion to water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations and the installation of water distribution and sewerage systems. Wadi Sawa has constructed schools, hospital additions, roads, municipal buildings and industrial plants.
Wadi Sawa provides project management and local community integration skill sets necessary to implement cost effective solutions to the on going challenges in field management and logistics. Our crews are provided with safety training, standardized design and scope sheets that provide minimal disruptions to our work zones, local commerce and movement of traffic and people.
Our management approach is supported by over 27 years of design/build leadership. Wadi Sawa International’s organizational structure adapts to the difficult dynamic forces which are active in Iraq today. We work very hard to adhere to the high standards we have established for our clients. Our methodology provides for immediate mobilization of major equipment suppliers, initiation of the Ministry permitting process and pre-construction meetings with our clients. We strive for early mobilization, flexibility, coordination, schedule integration and tight project management. This has permitted Wadi Sawa to work on projects simultaneously and successfully.

Engineering Services
Wadi Sawa provides in-house
engineering design services. All of our projects both past and present
receive a value engineering (VE) critique. Each of our contracts is
given a project analysis to promote or encourage design efficiencies
and cost saving procedures which can be transferred to the client. In
2006 our VE procedure permitted Wadi Sawa to reduce our Clients cost at
the Habbaniyah Electrical Power and Distribution Project by 11%.
When possible, standard or existing approved design standards and
installation procedures are implemented. Wadi Sawa has the capability
to design to both American and European specifications. Wadi Sawa
invites or requires the primary equipment manufacturer to participate
in the engineering review process. All system designs will satisfy the
technical requirements of the equipment supplier.
When necessary or required by the specifications, customized designs
with site-specific details will be developed. Wadi Sawa provides direct
oversight and management services for all of our projects. The Wadi
Sawa design team directly participates in the preliminary site survey,
engineering survey, conceptual design review, construction readiness
reviews, communication reviews and client quality assurance reviews.
